Size charts differ according to color. Two new pairs received from this listing, this week. Pictured on Right is navy blue. Coplete size chart on package says US Men Medium 5-8, Large 8-12. Pictured on Left is white sock, chart says Medium is 6-9, Large 9-12. Same difference for Women sizing. Included photos of socks worn one year or more, both size L. Used during practices and games, Several times/week even without washing in between (eww) during intenese season about 5 months. Off season they are worn less frequently or not at all. Two pairs were in rotation. Pictured on Right is "Senda" : The grips are smaller, still firmly attached. It has more cotton (feels rougher after many washes). One hole near heel where sock gets pulled when putting on. Starting to thin in the heel the way cotton does, but no bare spots yet. Other brand, also purchased at Dick's has larger grips. Looks a bit newer, but the grips are coming off near toe and heel. Softer material, made with bamboo and more dense in toe and heel. Both used on size 9 to 9 1/2 cleat fitting foot. Tube part and middle foot sections have similar tightness on both brands, but other brand has larger foot area. Son chose the (smaller) L "Senda" to reorder, but was ambivalent until I forced him to choose. He may have picked according to look and what it feels like on his particular foot size. Washing: No time to hand wash. I do soak in soapy water several hrs so the actual washing in a machine works better. That's ideal, but realistically I've left them days soaking because too busy, or not soaked at all. Grip socks get thrown in loads with other clothes, on permanent press cold or warm. If I use cotton setting I will put newer socks in mesh bag. Always washed inside out to protect grips, and hung dry. No softener used, just soap. What I do to keep expensive for us socks going longer. The washing recommendations are more strict than what I do. Handwash, COLD, no softener, hung dry. Rarely review, but paying this much for socks warrants an effort for others. Recommend if trying out different brands! 4 stars for size chart annoyance, less dense in heel but decent overall longenvity with excellent grip life.
