Great Rod

This is a great fishing rod. It is very easy to use.

Good Rod Ok Reel

Ugly stik rods are well made and high quality. The reel took some time to get dialed in but worked fine after that. Good value for the combo.

Great Learning Bait Caster

Bought this to use as a learning bait caster. Very easy to use, like the rod, so far have had minimal backlashes.

Not Good

I bought the rod online and gone to pick up and when I got there and they hand it to me it look and smell used dirty and smell like fish slim and it didnt came Pre-spooled 12 lbs line when it say it online but the guy told me I could pick any line out to have so that put up a 3 star or this would only gotten a one

Great Item

The product is awesome, however it had quite a large learning curve. Just from watching YouTube I thought switching from a standard pole and reel to a baitcast would be easy right off of the bat, but it is not. Once you learn how to properly use it though, it is consistantly phenomenal! In addition, dicks was horrible. I took them 4 weeks to ship me this item and when they finally sent me it, they sent me more items than I ordered.
