It's a great beginner stick out of you just want to practice.

My son doesn’t play hockey on a team but plays with the neighbors in the driveway. This is perfect. Sturdy. Holds up well and great price.

Opened the box and one of the stick blades were damaged with a chip and cut and bubbling. The other stick blade just had bubbling on the blade.

After a weekend on the ice and two broken carbon sticks later, I was in a bind. I needed something quick, but I didn't have $400+ dollars for one or two new sticks. I found these Sher-Wood sticks online and thought I'd give one a shot. I grew up playing with wooden sticks, mostly Sher-Wood, Titan and Koho models, and with the price of this stick it was an easy click to purchase. I will admit that at first I was worried about the weight and feel, but when I took this stick out of the box and taped it up, all the old warm and fuzzy feels of what made hockey great to me as a kid came rushing back. My fears about the weight were also quelled. Considering I'm a full grown man now, these aren't nearly as heavy as I remember. And while they are obviously slightly heavier than a carbon stick, these bad boys are absolute TANKS in the corners and they catch passes with almost no effort. I loved it so much that I ordered 4 more, and honestly, I don't think I'll ever go back to carbon. These feel like a hockey stick should feel. I will also say that I took some chirps when I showed up the next weekend, and I've earned the nickname "2 by 4" with the guys, but I've also had 4 different teammates ask me where I got these. I think I may have started a hockey stick renaissance. Just saying.

Great, durable stick for all players but especially for newer hockey players that you don't want give a carbon fiber stick to learn on.

Used the Coffey model Sherwood stick for years as a coach.... now using it as a recreational player.

I’ve always preferred a wooden stick to the composite ones. I like this one. Feels good, nice curve and flex! Thanks Sherwood and Dicks!

I bought this stick to help coach my son's instructional league hockey team. I was required to have a stick and bought this as it was the cheapest and highest rated. I am very pleased with my purchase. The stick is very sturdy, lightweight, good quality and functional for my needs (general hockey play). I was surprised with how light the stick was! I do not play competitive hockey, so I can not comment on this stcks functionality for that, but if you are looking for a high quality street/ice hockey stick for light to non-competitive reasons, I would say this stick would foot the blll!

Better passing and catching and shooting then any of my players with their 200$ + sticks

What can I say- monster curve (coffey) great flex. Won the hardest shot contest -94mph- with a hockey ball and this beauty!!

The Paul Coffee 5030 Sherwood is the best stick out there... "heritage...lol"... and still only $40. Don't understand kids paying $200 for a comp... does nothing for you until you are at a level to use it to its full advantage...

Even though I didn't buy it for ice hockey, I plan on using it for inline hockey. It has that composite stick feel, plus it's cheaper than the composite sticks!

This stick is a perfect throwback to wooden sticks. I refuse to pay 100$ or more for a stick and have loved the feel of a wood stick.
