Our Beach Experience

Loved how easy it is to set up.We went to Surfside Beach SC it’s a small beach. My family had wanted one of these for a couple of years. The proudly put it up talking about how easy it is to do. They all seat down. They put it in a row with the other beach goers. They all had umbrellas. About fifteen minutes later a person in a four by four told them they would have to move that noise to the dune line. My grandsons were embarrassed. We used umbrella rest of week. Guess we will go to a different beach from now on where this will be welcome.

Big Rectangle Shade

Works as advertised. Does have string in front holding it down didn’t bother my wife . If wind changes direction you must reposition it. Very easy to carry and set up. Better than umbrella.

Worked perfectly in all wind conditions during our week in Florida. Super easy setup and takedown. Very happy with the product !

Great Shade. Too Bad It's Banned Where I Want To Use It.

Shade is great. Orange Beach and Gulf Shores Al won't let us use it though. We have to setup above the high water line at the very back of the beach due to local ordinances. So that sucks. Great product, easy setup and take down. But basically banned.

Takes a few minutes to set up. It cuts so much time and frustration out of a beach day. It’s light, quick and provides ample shade. The small is great for 2-4 people.

Best Shade Ever!

I’m 70 and have spent my life vacationing at the beach. I’ve tried everything to get out of the sun. Shibumi is the absolute best. Wish I could get a refund on all the umbrellas and tents stored in my garage. Chairs are the best as well.

We Love Are Shibumi Sun Shade. Wish We Would Have Gotten One Sooner!!

We love our Shibumi Sun Shade. Wish we would have purchased one sooner. Only down fall is if there is not much wind. The wind Assist kinda works but most of the time there is plenty of wind in beautiful South Florida.

Love The Shibumi Shade

This is my second Shibumi Shade. The other one was seven years old and was doing great until it met an untimely accident. I immediately ordered another one and it came so lightning fast. I was so happy!! Haven't tried it yet but I'm sure it will be even better than the last.

We looked at many different options for beach shade and this was the most highly recommended. After using it twice, we totally agree! Simple set up and very effective at keeping multiple people under cover. Also, it’s so pretty to see the beach littered with shibumis of various colors- very festive.

My Pole Cracked

First time out and my pole cracked- can you help me? Wish I could order a Navy and Gold one! Love the color combo

Couldn't Be Happier!

We were tired of having to adjust and close our umbrella when there was a certain amount of wind. The last straw was when a gust of wind took out our umbrella and broke the plastic part. We saw the Shibumi and thought it was a brilliant idea. So we made the investment to have one. Used it and love it! Small and compact, easy set up, stayed in place and provided lots of shade!

As Great As I Hoped It Would Be!

I had seen the Shibumi shades all over the beach, and had wanted one for years. Finally bought one and tried it out at the beach this past week -- it works just as well as I hoped it would. Very light weight and super easy to set up. Stayed put in the sand on a very windy day, and provided plenty of shade. The classic size (hot pink/orange) was very roomy for two people and would be fine for four. Highly recommend!

Shade In The Breeze

Bought this for a present for my son who lives at TopSail Island, NC. I spent most of my adult life on Long Beach Island, NJ tugging awkward, unsafe Beach umbrella’s. the Shibumi is easy to tote, set-up and take down and provides more shade. Kudos to you for designing a beach lovers safe and easy to set up source of shade and sun protection. Love it!

Why Did I Wait So Long?

I’ve seen these for years then I promised myself if the sunset color came back, I would get it. I then immediately booked a beach weekend away - even though the beach is less than an hour from home. So easy to put together. Plenty of shade. Just what the doctor ordered! I only wish I had purchased a long time ago.
