Total Fail

Am very flabbergasted with the 5 star reviews I just read. My husband purchased this shibumi shade. Total fail. I didn’t know if to get upset at him for purchasing a $300 shade for our beach day or at Dick’s Sporting Goods for selling a product like these. We installed it and it just did not work for us. It was easy to put up but complete fail. We returned it immediately.

Easy To Use And Great For Families!

I LOVE this shade! It's light weight and so so easy to set up and take down. I have a small kid so anything that makes my life easier is such a win in my book! I can't wait to use this shade at every beach vacation.

We got this shade last July and can never go back. I was not sure I would be able to set it up alone, but it is so easy. Take down is even easier! Ordered the chairs to match our Shibumi and know we will be the most comfortable on the beach

Pink/orange Color Is So Beautiful

We love our shades! We have both sizes Classic and Mini because each size serves a different purposes (I can pack my Mini in my carry on!). I was so happy to see Dick's now stocks the Pink/Orange color. I've been trying to get my hands on one for forever!

Hands Down The Best Beach Shade!

I bought a Blue one last year and i absolutely love it! I came back to purchase the new color. This shade is easy to setup (i do it by myself) its super lightweight and very portable. Its gives a ton of sun protection. The shade coverage is large and easily covers my family of 4. We've had it up anywhere from mph winds to 25 mph winds and it hasn't fallen over. Seems like the windier the better honestly.

Worth The Money!

We bought our Shibumi Shade before a week-long beach trip and I was honestly skeptical it would live up to the hype… but it really does. Setup took maybe 2–3 minutes once we got the hang of it, and it held up way better than any umbrella we’ve used (no chasing it down the beach 🙃). The biggest surprise was how much space it actually covers — we comfortably had 5–6 people under it with room to spare. It also packs down super small, which made getting everything to the beach way less of a hassle. Only thing to note is you do need a bit of wind for it to work best, but on most beach days that hasn’t been an issue at all. Would absolutely buy again.

We Love Ours!

I used to always stress about our umbrella or 10x10 popup tent going airborne when the wind picks up, and stress is the last thing you should have on the beach. I love this product -- so simple and effective, while being compact and lightweight for packing and carrying. Easy to setup and take down, huge shade footprint, and peace-of-mind with the new kit included for the back corners in case the breeze goes to zero.
