Awesome

This is the best shade we have ever had at the beach!!

Absolutely Love It

We have travel to SSI for 38 years for our anniversary. We now purchase a gift together. So last year we purchased a shibumi. Our life changed! So easy to pop-up and relax! 😎 everyone who enjoys the beach should get one. Otherwise you’re wasting precious beach time trying to let up flimsy umbrellas or dragging a tent. Life is to short for all that.

Our “Sunset” Shubumi Shade is beautiful! It’s so easy to set up and I love how quiet it is while I sit reading on the beach. My old noisy beach umbrella used to drive me crazy.

The Coolest People On The Beach

You can officially call us the coolest people on the beach — literally, thanks to our Shibumi Shade. The color is such an eye-catcher, and everywhere we go, people stop to ask about it. Fair warning: if you’re not a people person, this might not be the beach setup for you because everyone will want to know where you got your Shibumi!The setup and takedown have made going to the beach so much more enjoyable. Being able to put it up in just minutes — without lugging a giant tent through the sand — has been a total game changer.

I live on the beach so I have seen & tried all of the shade tents out there. This is hands down the easiest to set up this lightest to carry and the best one 100%. I bought the mini and now I need to upgrade to the big one.

Incredible Investment!

We bought our Shibumi about 6 years ago. It is by far one of the best investments ever. So easy to carry, set up and put away. Our sons were at the beach this past spring break, and he was able to use it with his friends.We are waiting for a burnt orange and white shibumi to purchase another one.

Easiest Shade Ever!!!

We had been looking at Shibumi since we first saw them in port Aransas Texas. Well this last trip we made our move and purchased ours from Port a kite. We were excited, showed up at beach jumped out of truck I started putting poles together and wife pulled material out of the bag and had it up blowing in the wind in 5 minutes.

Overall Good, But Requires Some Learning With Practice.

We’ve really enjoyed the shibumi shade this week while on HHI. We visit Hilton head every year so we felt the investment was worth it to get rid of the bulky and extremely heavy pop up tent we use to bring. Now to my reasoning for only 4/5 stars. It is super quick and easy to assemble until you get to the part where you have to get the poles in sand. The poles have to go in just the right amount in order to stay put. We found it practically impossible to get them into the harder packed down sand even with digging a hole. It definitely requires two people when it comes to planting the poles, especially if you’re at a high wind beach. It was suppose to be a 4 minute setup that usually turned into 10-15 minutes because of how difficult it was to plant the poles. Hopefully with more practice we’ll get quicker. Take down is really quick and easy. Super light weight, which is essential. Provided plenty of shade for our family of 4. It does make a noise, but we actually enjoy it and honestly it’s expected when you have a parachute like material moving with the wind.

Glad I Bought One

Great shade large size easy to set up. Now that we live with walking distance of beach glad I invested in one. Was 20 mph wind yesterday and shade held up but wind was beating us up. :-)

Great Shade Coverage

It simple to deploy. Just need to be careful of very strong winds. I would buy another color. The blue/teal is the most used on the beach.

Awesome Sun Shade

This product is the easiest shade to set up, adjust, and take down. It takes less than 2 minutes to assemble. This is a remarkable product. I am buying one foe each family member. We used it this weekend at Dauphin Island and it worked flawless.

Just What We Needed

Bought the mini version as just us 2 Boomers We tried it out a couple of weeks ago @ Oak Island and it worked perfectly for the slightly windy day. Highly recommend!
