Great Casting Reel

I bought this fishing reel for my grandson for his birthday. Since he lives in FL, he was able to try it out right away and loves it. He said it is easy to use and catch and release the fish he catches. Can’t say if it will last long yet as he just received it.

Works great, very hard to backlash. Great for beginners or the seasoned fisherman.

Devastated.

I bought this 4 days ago, so shipping time was great, HOWEVER. I was sent the WRONG ITEM. I am devastated because the box says the correct item but upon opening it, I received the Shimano 150 instead of the 151 (the big difference is one is right handed and one is left). Not to mention, upon opening my box, the item package itself was closed by scotch tape so I was already nervous. Now I have no gift to give to my significant other on christmas. I am completely livid. AND the reel they did send me has paint chips in it ???

Was a little hesitant buying online but Dick’s allowed a return at the local store if I wasn’t satisfied. The SLX DC is a great reel. Shipping was quick, two days. I purchased a second reel as well.
