Great And Smooth Reel

I bought this a month ago and it’s the smoothing spinning reel I’ve ever owned. I got a 4,000 so it can handle anything inshore and it has been working excellent so far. I paired it with. Phenix m1 rod.

Favorite Spinning Reel

I’ve been using the Shimano Stradic for a while now and it’s easily one of the smoothest reels I’ve owned. Right out of the box it feels solid, not cheap or plasticky, and the retrieve is insanely smooth even under load. Drag is consistent and reliable, which really shows when a fish makes a hard run. It’s light enough to fish all day without fatigue but still feels strong and well built. I’ve used it for both freshwater and saltwater and it’s held up great with basic maintenance. Line lays clean, casting is easy, and it just does what it’s supposed to do without any weird quirks.
