The Shimano® Tiagra Conventional Reel features a machined aluminum frame and sideplates with L.R.S. style drag curve performance. This curve allows the reel to handle extremely heavy line and the drag pressure so there is no need to use a warning positon. By starting the curve directly from the Freespool position, the Shimano Tiagra gives you a wider variety of useable drag settings.
