I purchased this item for my 17 year old grandson after he had been accidentally hit in the groin during track practice. We had to visit the emergency room due to swelling the second day after the injury. After the ultrasound revealed that all was well the physician recommended he wear some form of support. I didn’t have a clue what to purchase but I’m glad I chose Shock Doctor. He thought he would have to miss the upcoming meet but once he put on the supporter he could no longer feel the pain. After he thanked me the second time I was convinced the supporter was really working. He usually wears a size small mens in clothing but I purchased a medium that did the trick. Happy customer.

Coming from wearing McDavid jockstraps for weightlifting and very satisfied using Shock Doctor Core Supporter. High quality materials are comfortable and seems like it will outlast the competition. Always washed in garment net on cold cycle just in case… Great design and never need to make adjustments throughout workouts. The waistband is narrower compared to classic jockstraps and stays in place. The pouch is nonabrasive and has the perfect fit for support. The leg bands never roll out of place during squats, lunges, etc. This is my new go to gym jock because almost forget I am wearing it, so ordered more. I have a 36” waist and wear size XL. this jock has completely changed what I wear now, its light, breathable yet durable. the pocket on the inside works great and the waistband is the perfect thickness. however, the straps on the back are a little thin if you ask me, don't get me wrong, they do what they should, but they can kinda dig in if you are caked up lol. overall I love it and I'm gonna be a customer for life now :)
