Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product My son is in beginner hockey with a full cage helmet. We purchased the Gravity 2 mouth piece from Shock Dr. with tether to mount to helmet. (Another great idea. Better communicating and breathing.) When he would finish a game he would throw his helmet and mouth piece into his bag. If you are new to sports, gear bags can develop bad viruses. So we bought the casr and clipped it to the outside of his bag so he wouldn't forget it, and it would be away from the main compartment. Dick's also sell a flavored sanitizing spray for before and after use that I highly recommend. Hope this help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice case Bought this for my son for football & he loves how nice the case is how well it allows "water" to get off a mouthguard and how easy it is to attach to either his helmet or gear bag. Now for the only small negative we've found. The "inexpensive" carabiner that's attached to the case for attachment to your gear bag or helmet has already bent and the clip doesn't clip any more. It would have been great if there had been foresight enough to make the carabiner replaceable. Really i'd like to give this a 4.5 to 4.75 star rating. 4 stars is to low and 5 star is just too high.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This gadget is worth 5 times its cost Every Shock Doctor product I have purchased has exceeded expectations! This includes an expensive protective girdle with puck-deflecting padding as well as the Mouthguard Case. These Mouthguards are expensive ($20 apiece). Attaching them to the helmet grill is just an invitation to damage, filth, and letting them hang instead of using them. Any tie-string inhibits on-field banter. Without the tie string, the kids keep the mouthguard in the mouth more, and can communicate, but then they get dirty or lost. Solution: The Shock Doctor Anti-Microbial Mouthguard Case!If your kid needs a mouthguard, you need this case! (The Tap Out mouthguards are great.) And, brush the mouthguard with toothpaste occasionally, for pity sake!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great My son had used one of these this past year until he took it off his bag and left it on the field one day - Other than that it worked great. The snap closure is sufficient, not too hard, not to easily opening on its own. The clip is great to fasten it to his bag. I will say that the orange is an translucent orange and has a flatter profile, but still fits the adult size mouthguard. The blue and green are opaque and are a deeper profile. They both still offer good ventilation without risk of losing the guards. All set for two boys in football next fall.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not perform like I thought- super clunky outside my bag My mouthpiece kept falling out of the hole made to allow for ventilation in the front. Irritating as heck. Luckily it happened so many times at home, right after opening the package, that I didn’t lose my mouthpiece in a parking lot or something. If Dicks were closer, I’d take this back. But it was so cheap, it would cost me more in gas and my time to take it back. I almost forgot to mention how clunky it is to have this thing hanging on the outside of your gym bag. I guess I’m just used to everything fitting in the bag...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! We have two of these - we've only been using them for a few weeks, but they seem to work really well. There's plenty of ventilation, and it takes a little bit of a tug to open, so I'm not really afraid of them just opening on their own. Just to note, the pink color online shows the middle top of the case (where ShockDoctor is printed) to be a light color, but the ones in the store have black in the middle. It may very well come that way if you order it, but I'm assuming that's an older picture online.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from HS Football Player Who Wears Braces Per my son, this is a great mouth guard case that fits most mouth pieces. He can just keep this in his locker with his equipment and not worry about losing his mouth piece or getting nasty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from She hasn't lost it yet LOL Bought it for my child because she kept losing her mouth guard. Attaches to her field hockey bag and reminds her to put it in the case. Matches her team colors also. Great so far.
