Terrible Quality

My daughter started flag football earlier this year. After only 2 practices, the little black piece that goes around the edge broke off, and a couple of weeks later the other side broke off and she has completely bit through the back and a chunk broke off. Now, I will admit, part of this is due to her "chewing" on it, however I would not expect this thing to be completely destroyed after less than a month of use.
