Tether Is Junk

I bought this mouthguard for my son a day before his first game. Halfway through the second quarter the tether broke. I asked an employee at Dicks if it was something that I could warranty, but unfortunately it was not. So I purchased this same mouthguard a second time since my son loved it so much. Well after two practices the tether snapped in the same spot AGAIN. I will be buying a third mouthguard within two weeks and it is definitely will not be a Shock brand.
