Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shock doctor Last fall we bought the jock. The one we bought last year had full underwear inside. Our Son loved it and the cup was very comfortable. This year , this jock had only leg straps. The cup is the same. Hope to return it for the full underwear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice shorts with protection They fit great and offer excellent protection. The only issue is the Velcro straps are very difficult to pull apart so you can attach socks. It would be better to have a larger Velcro patch that is made of a 20% weaker Velcro.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The mesh helps ventilate These ran a bit small. The first pair I bought for my husband were Lg. and they were too small and he normally wears a size 34 blue jean. When I exchanged them for an Extra Lg. the associates were very helpful and they fit great. The mesh is a great sweat ventilator! The spot where he attaches his hockey socks should be a bit wider.

Still, it's not so loose that you need to be concerned (as long as you know your waist size). It's a solid purchase. It would be nice if they had an extra pair of briefs in the same pack. Afterall, it is generally a good idea to wash them...
