Good Support, But Tight And Uncomfortable Under The Armpit

I really wanted to like this shoulder brace. I have been experiencing should pain for a while but when I wear a brace I feel like my shoulder is less stressed and doesn't hurt as much. I have a brace currently from a different brand, but it has a plastic piece that is positioned right in the middle of my chest. I was drawn to this shoulder brace because the velcro strip was a consistent band with a bit of padding against my chest. I tried out shoulder brace for a bit and wore while sitting at my desk working and for the most part I liked it, but the underside dug into my armpit and irritated me a lot. In the end I decided to return it because I wouldn't wear it because it was uncomfortable enough to me. I had the largest size so I couldn't try a larger size to see if it fit better.

I have been dealing with shoulder pain in my left rotator cuff for about a year. I did not get any injuries, just started experiencing pain. All year I have been using KT Tape with mixed results. For the price of tape, I could have purchased 3-4 of these braces. The results, excellent mobility with no pain! Some shoulder rehab would probably resolve the issue completely. I’m 5’7” at 175lbs and in shape. A medium size was perfect. I definitely recommend this product.

Compression Shoulder Wrap

It certainly is compression but it runs small. I ordered the S/M and although average sized woman, the chest strap was very tight and there was no way to extend the length.

Basic Wrap With High Level Of Support

Purchased this three weeks ago to help with a partially torn RC while I wait for my surgery. Find it helps quite a bit and gives me the confidence to keep hitting the gym. Have to agree with others in that the Velcro strap is a bit uncomfortable and if you have a broad chest it very well may be too short. Some also state that the arm sleeve is too small, that may be true for them but the purpose of the wrap is to support the shoulder. The sleeve needs to be snug so as to pick up your arm and help hold it into the socket joint of the shoulder.

Worked Better Than Expected.

I've never had a need for a shoulder brace before, so I didn't know what to expect exactly, but figured it would take weeks to get some relief, but this brace had me feeling better in just a couple of days. Easy to adjust, comfortable to wear all day and even at night.
