I usually wear the shirt with the neck guard. I have issues with the Velcro wearing out and scratching the back of my neck. I purchased the Shock Doctor Ultra 2.0 Neck Guard, and I wish I had done it sooner. Very comfortable fit, I did not feel it while playing.

Good Very Safe Option
Well made and has nice curvature to go under the chin. A lot are straight across and don't allow neck movement. Took a bit for the kid to get used to it but has no complaints now

Peace Of Mind
I bought this for peace of mind after i caught a floating stick blade to the neck. It’s initially a little warm but i really don’t notice it after warmups. 4 stars because it seems to be stretching a bit with use and hand washing.

May Look Elsewhere
