Shock Doctor Youth Gel Max Convertible Mouthguard

We got this for my 7-year-old for flag football, and it’s been a great pickup. The fit and comfort are the biggest wins. After molding it, it stayed in place really well and didn’t bother him during games or practice—which is saying a lot, because anything uncomfortable usually gets taken out right away. He’s able to breathe and talk pretty easily with it in, so no complaints there. I also like the convertible strap option. We started with it attached to the helmet for convenience, but it’s nice having the flexibility to use it strapless too, depending on preference. Durability has been solid so far. It’s held up through multiple practices and games without losing its shape, and it still feels secure. Overall, it does exactly what you want—good protection, a comfortable fit, and easy to use for a younger kid just getting into sports. Would definitely recommend for youth flag football.

Nice Mouthguard But Too Small

I bought this mouthguard for my 8 year old son but it was too small and not flexible at all. We tried the next size up with was an adult small but that one was too big.
