Shock Doctor Back Plate + Rib Protector - Good Buy!

Product works as described... son thinks it's a bit bulky to wear more than just the back plate but the rib protector helps. The screws are difficult to tie into the shoulder pads. Works great

Good Quality Just Check Fitment With Should Pads

These have a lot of adjustability but check with fitment of shoulder pads. For smaller kids the rib pad won't fit due to it colliding with the shoulder pads.

Great Option For Added Protection

My son wore a backplate last year which helped a lot, but this year was looking for more rib protection (the team previously had rib guards but did away with them a few years ago). We thought we'd try this as it is a backplate + rib guard in-one. He hasn't worn it yet in a game, but has during practice, and has said it's a genius idea and a total gamechanger.
