Great shoes for wet waiting. I bought these 1 1/2 sizes larger than my normal shoe size and wore them with the Simms wet waiting neoprene socks.

Wanted To Love Them, But No Good For Gravel

Really wanted to like these shoes, but just can't, given their inability to keep out gravel and the subsequent pain of getting an already-wet shoe back on after taking it off to remove the gravel. The good: Stiff souls provide decent all-round traction and shoe provides good protection generally. The bad: doesn't keep out gravel and heel loop rips out when one tries to put wet shoe back on. If you don't have gravel, they might work for you, but expect break-in blisters on your ankles.
