Help A Little

I purchased the hard bite after fishing on the Roaring Fork and Frying Pan rivers which I found pretty slippery as I took a dip after having a foot slip out and losing my balance. After I purchased the hard bites and installed them I returned and I am not sure if they helped that much and in some instances may have decreased my grip on the slippery rocks. I will be trying them again to get a better feel. I am using Guide 4 boots and I am not sure if the hard bites extend enough above the tread.

Works But Comes Loose

I put these in the new generation of boot foot waiters. I followed the directions, screwing them in by hand but after four or five days of fishing, the majority of them were coming loose.

Hard Bite Cleats

This is my 2nd set for my 2nd new pair of Simms guide wading boots. They are installed on my first pair and are still performing like new after several 100 trips into various rivers and streams. I use them in tandem with the alumibite cleats. These keep me surefooted in all of natures various conditions in the water and its surroundings. I have total confidence in my footing no matter the challenge.

Difference Maker

Bought these to use at the San Juan, to really see the difference first half of day went without, second half put them on. Definite difference, worth putting on. Easy to install.

Star Cleats Are A Must Have

I have used these cleats for years. They do wear down and sometimes fall out with heavy use, but it is worth reordering and replacing them. They work great on slick rocks and slick muddybanks.
