I Find These Cleats Essential.

I find these cleats essential. They have prevented falls.

Use These A Lot. Not

Use these a lot. Not a perfect fit all the time and do loose a few but the ones that stay never loose shape

Wading Boot Cleat

My first 3 days using these cleat with new Simms boots were great. The river I fished is known for slippery rocks and lava "tubes" and in retrospect, I think the felt soles on the boots instead of the hard rubber would have been a better pairing. The cleats were great though.

Help A Little

I purchased the hard bite after fishing on the Roaring Fork and Frying Pan rivers which I found pretty slippery as I took a dip after having a foot slip out and losing my balance. After I purchased the hard bites and installed them I returned and I am not sure if they helped that much and in some instances may have decreased my grip on the slippery rocks. I will be trying them again to get a better feel. I am using Guide 4 boots and I am not sure if the hard bites extend enough above the tread.

Works But Comes Loose

I put these in the new generation of boot foot waiters. I followed the directions, screwing them in by hand but after four or five days of fishing, the majority of them were coming loose.
