Almost Perfect But. . . . . . . . . .

CONS: Backpack pad should have had more holes or more breathable like most modern bags, super sweaty material, will prob cut the foam out and punch more holes in this. Side zip is great but the hard 90 angle is a pain to zip one handed when grabbing fly boxes out of the side, wish this zipped easier, gets hung up. Side net spot finally is great, old dry creek pack was a nightmare to land a fish while wearing the bag, this fixes that but also sucks when hiking in, net bangs against your arm the whole time, I had to fasten cord on the back of the pack to hike the net in. PROS: fixes a ton of quams of the other bags on the market, the dry creek one especially. . . . the new features and side panel is huge for actually fishing with this thing. The phone chest pocket is a nice feature, lets be real, most of us are lugging a phone out there and this keeps it high and dry and easily accessible. The waterproof dry pouch is extremely awesome, this whole bag would be a 10/10 but the foam back and straps really should have caught up with how other brands have easily fixed that, with just punching more holes in and using a more breathable mesh, this feels like 10 year old tech there. . . otherwise an almost perfect and fully functional bag!

Great Backpack!

This pack is very well organized and perfect for recreation travel and the trail for fly fishing. I used this as my primary carry on with rod and landing net attached with laptop in side pocket a clothing in the middle roll up section on way out to Montana. Then on the trail in Glacier NP hiking. It was perfect! This will be my “go to “ every trip. Love the look too!
