I owned the last generation of this bib and it was definitely below par for a Simms product, so I was hesitant to order the 2026 generation of this bib. But the high price tag on the Prodry bib pushed me to try the Challenger bib again. Although I haven't used them yet my initial impression is that Simms definitely upgraded and improved this bib quite a bit! The material seems better and more durable and there's no inner liner. But the real test will be to see how well they survive a season or two in Alaska. . .

These bibs are exactly as I had hoped. They fit great (5'4", 150 lbs) Medium. I'm a guide and these will work great for Great Lakes Steelheading. They even showed up two days sooner than scheduled. Way to go SIMMS!

Bibbes on the bottom for the leg zipper, (the tab that velcros) was ripped off

Fit and function are great. My only gripe is that the belt loop in the back sit above a mid seam and if it was below that seam it would fit and function better. It still works just now the belt has to slouch up front otherwise it covers the hand pockets. Aside from that they’re great.

Works as advertised. Durability has yet to be tested.

Awesome bibs super comfortable warm and dry! First day I got to use them it rained about an inch and I was bone dry!

This is my second Simms Challenger rain bib. I really like the fit and style which always brings complements. But the real reason I like them is comfort. I wear them four seasons in Northeast PA and NY's Thousand Island region, and I am always dry and comfortable. At 6'6", I do wish there was a tall option, but these definitely work with boots.

Perfect gear for those wet/cold windy days on the water. A bit more expensive than other bibs but the quality is far superior! Definitely recommend - great comfort and utility.

Nice lightweight bibs. I tried the large and they were far too big for me (5’10” 160 lbs). The medium fit much better, but a little snug around my chest. The outer layer is pretty thin nylon, I hope they hold up. Very comfortable, especially if unzipped a little to not squeeze my chest.

Very comfortable bibs that are well designed. Easy to get on and off and breathable, especially compared to other brands/styles. The pockets are great and the zip/velcro on the legs makes it easier to get them on/off and around your boots.

These rain paints and suspenders stay on my shoulders and don't slide down. Light and comfortable

I liked the bibs but the size was way too big. I ended up returning the item due to it being sized for Sasquatch.
