Sitka Fishing
June fishing in Sitka with Angling Unlimited has been a ritual for my husband and I for 18 years. There are brutal days and beautiful days, this year we had the usual combination. Cold and wet, sunny and warmish. The mitts were perfect! I bought three pairs for us to try and they were fabulous! Reeling black cod, halibut and salmon, we tested them. Positive feedback from all! (I’ll get a pair for our fourth fisherman for Christmas, he felt very left out. ).

Warm But Not Super Durable
These gloves are warm which is great, but difficult to remove and a seam tore slightly trying to get them off just after one use. Also, maybe someone at Simms can chime in and explain how to keep the fold over mitt "stowed" to prevent from flopping everywhere.

Warm, But Not Great
Nice warm gloves/mittens. They work great on the river in cold weather. They are terrible to try to get off when you're done. I have already torn mine pretty badly trying to get them off.

Serves Their Purpose!
So I bought these to go steelhead fishing in the Yoop. I got the men’s xs. I am a petite woman and was having a hard time finding any gloves but the mens xs worked great for me. I was worried about someone else’s review about not having a snap for the top flap but they roll up and tuck inside like i thought they would (and should).
