Waders

This is my second pair of these waiters that I have bought. My first pair leaked throughout the seams, but I was able to repair with aqua seal. Hoping these don’t leak.

Waders

Fantastic fit! Easy on & off. Neoprene socks are very comfortable. Gravel guards the best ever.

Exactly What I Needed In A Pair Of Waders!

Excellent build quality! The fabrics feel very robust as does the stitching/seam taping. The fit is true to size. Overall, the waders should last a long time and keep me nice and dry!

Leak Right Out Of The Box.

Brand new out of the box they leak in the stocking foot and leg on the left side. Judging by their website I’ll be waiting 6-8 weeks for a replacement pair while the salmon and steelhead runs are going on. What a let down for my first pair of Simms waders.

Made Out Of A Pasta Strainer.

I can confidently say that these waders do not stand up to any kind of consistent use. I'm a guide and I put a lot of hours on my waders, so I'm used to the occasional seam leak or two. Unfortunately the seams weren't the only problem. The stocking feet on these waders wear out at an unacceptable rate. Less than halfway through my season I was left with a quarter sized hole in the right foot. I'm very careful about the feet of my waders, and don't even step on the ground with the bare wading sock to avoid getting any kind of grit in the boot where it could make holes. Since then I've had to patch several more holes in both feet, as well as a concerning number of seam leaks.

Leak After About 30 Days Of Use!

I received the freestone waders for Christmas last year. Since then I have about 30 days on the river with them. Both knees and both shins leak. I'm incredibly disappointed!

Wouldn’t Buy Again

Multiple leaks within first year poor quality not happy had to patch numerous times my Orvis waders took 5 years of hard salmon and steelhead fishing seasons to do that

Great Waders

I use these in salt water and fresh, and they are durable, and comfortable. I wear the XL so I can fit warm layers underneath which is essential in Alaska.

Great Waders

Was deciding whether to get these or the G3’s. Went with these with the hopes of upgrading in the future if I liked these. Safe to say I will be upgrading. These are great I use them up in the Kenai river to fish sockeye and trout as well as occasionally in the lakes for smaller rainbows. You can definitely feel the quality as soon as you step into these

Wader Review

I have a size 14 foot but am fairly small for a guy with that size boot. The feet fit perfectly but the large waders are still a bit baggy. Still they are very nice!!

Light, Breathable And Tough

I purchased these waders as a lighter weight pair than my G3 and G4 waders for late Spring, Summer, and early Fall. and as a replacement to my Fly Weight Waders that are showing some ware. I am really impressed with these new Freestones. They are lighter material wise than the older model Freestones but very tough. Very comfortable and I think More breathable than older Freestones.

Great Waders

I pick these waders up to try out, very comfortable and fit great.

Great But Doesn't Come With The Belt.

description indicates it comes with a belt. mine did not. otherwise great

Like 'Em

Taller than expected with the 12/13 booties, which I need. Otherwise, a great product and I expect long lasting.

Waders

Everything went perfect throughout the transaction!
