Highly Durable, Hot In Hot Weather.
Highly durable compared to lighter weight jackets, downside it's not as breathable so hot in warmer weather.

Not Waterpoof
Nice jacket but it is not waterproof. Everytime I wear it, even in a light rain, it's wet on the inside within an hour. Material is not shedding water, it just absorbs it. I don't trust this jacket enough to take it anywhere important. Feels like a huge waste of money when I have jackets that perform better at 1/4 the price.

Freestone Wadding Jacket
I was surprised at the quality of this jacket. tested at 2 degrees with constant rain for 5 hours and stayed dry. very good windproof and waterproof as it should be. The reputation of Simms clothing is well established
