Great For Heel Blisters
If you want to terrorize your feet wear these while wading flats. I had three blisters on my feet in just 2 days of wearing them.

Rubs Your Achilles Raw
So, I'm a big fan of Simms products. I live in the Rocky Mountains and row the rivers throughout the season chasing trout. I was excited to purchase a pair of the Simms Pursuit for both summer wet wading and for flats fishing. The shoe seems rugged and well made. The problem is that they rub both of my achilles raw making the shoes unusable. With all the great products that Simms has made, I'm surprised if field testing didn't reveal this issue. A simple redesign of the heel could make these shoes perfect. Disappointing. . .

Great River Shoe
Tried lots of different water shoes for fishing on the river and these are the best yet. Performance fit, all day comfort, super grippy on rocks.

New Favorite Shoe
An anywhere, anytime shoe. Sturdy walk and wet wade. Great on panga & skiff decks. Then jump right in and wade the flats. The snug elastic at the ankle keeps stuff out (I wear a thin sock under). Don't need the big, official wading boots unless its big-time coral or lava. Cool casual shoe for everywhere.

Great River Shoe When It’s Hot
This is a perfect shoe when it’s hot. Lots of tread. I feel very sure footed when wading.

Awesome Summer Wet Wading Shoe!!
The wife and I both got these for a late August fly fishing float/wade trip on the Yellowstone River (north of park north entrance), and they provided great traction and the top cuff kept out all gravel when paired with wool crew socks when wade fishing, highly recommend when it’s warm enough that waders are not needed!!

Mold In Shoes
I purchased the Simms Pursuit Shoes hoping for a reliable, high-quality option for outdoor activities, but my experience has been incredibly disappointing. After just two weeks of wear, I removed the insoles to clean them and was shocked to find mold growing underneath. The smell was awful, and it was clear the shoes weren’t drying properly after getting wet. I thought it might be a one-off issue, but my friend bought the same pair and discovered the exact same problem—mold under the insoles after minimal use. It seems the design doesn’t allow water to drain or dry effectively, creating a breeding ground for mold. These shoes are not only uncomfortable to wear after getting wet, but they’re also a health hazard. For the price, I expected far better quality and functionality. I wouldn’t recommend the Simms Pursuit Shoes to anyone who plans to use them in wet conditions. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Solid Wet Wading Shoe
I’ve been loyal to Chaco for years, but needed a close toed option for guiding. Just finished a weeklong the Devils River, and they performed great. Minimal debris gets in and it seems to “hide” in the small holes in the insole, so you don’t have to empty all the time.
