Well Made And Comfortable

These gloves are extremely well-made and very comfortable to wear. Day after day prowling the bonefish flats they did the job.

Acceptable Wear After One Weekend

Pretty disappointed with these gloves. The palm is fine but the wrist and back of the hand material is prone to snags and pulls. They look 6 months old after one weekend. Not recommended and not typical Simms quality.

Horrible Design On New Glove

I had been nursing my last pair of Guide Gloves for a few months while awaiting this new release…mainly because the old guide gloves appear to be sold out everywhere in my size. From the photos that have been released, these new Guide Gloves are a step, or three, in the wrong direction. In most cases, many anglers wear long sleeve fishing shirts and do not need the cuff of their sun gloves to cover a 1/3 of their forearms…. and those who don’t wear long sleeves while fishing, would not want a short sleeve added to their fishing gloves. Once the Aftco or Sitka gloves I will be having to purchase wear out, hopefully Simms will have reverted back to the original style glove.

Fell Apart After 2-3weeks

My review title says it all. Both gloves started falling apart after 2-3 weeks of use. Given, I used them hard, guiding every day, rowing the boat etc. but they are literally called the guide glove, you would think they would hold up a little better.

Sun Gloves

Have not used them yet but they are perfect fit and fingers are not to long

Great Gloves!

This is my second pair of Simms guide gloves. I somehow lost the last pair, and they were great as well, so I went right back to Simms for another pair. I highly recommend these gloves.

Men’s Solarflex Guide Glove

Bomber gloves, thicker palm leather than any other gloves, i row heavy boats so that’s important, they also have outlasted any of my other gloves.

Guide Gloves

These gloves are great for sun protection. As a striper guide, these gloves give protection from gill plates and fish lips but still let you do a quick leader repair. Youre able to untangle line easily.

Favorite Tarpon Gloves

Needed something heavier duty for wrangling leaders as a saltwater guide. These gloves have a great balance between sun-gloves and heavy duty gloves and are my favorite for handling larger Salty species!

Creating Memories Every Trip!

Comfortable and durable. Great for cooler days. My 2nd pair wont be my last 100%

Bought these for Salt water fishing and the worked great/ The leather on the fingers work nicley for stripping guard.

Now An Essential Part Of My Kit

I bought these gloves for sun protection, but find myself using them for a lot more than that. I fish with them on cold mornings to take a little edge off my hands, and I keep them in my rain jacket, because when its wet, my hands get line burn if Im catching fish. I like how the fabric is smooth and doesnt get caught up with the hook, and theres zero issue tying knots. Theyre a little hard to get on, but I also dont notice them once I do. Cuffs go right over them with no issues whether its a jacket or a sun hoody. Fly fishing with gloves is always a bit of a drag, but Im going to keep fishing these until I have to go warmer. Even then, Im always going to try getting by with these first. I didnt realize how much use theyd get when I purchased them.

Great Gloves

I wanted these gloves to not only protect my hands but protect them from the sun and they do both perfectly.

Great Gloves

Have used my prior ones for 10 + years despite wear on the material portion the leather is still excellent. They werent availableca while so ordered now thst they are. I ordered small, which is too tight on the new ones (wear size 7 to 7.5 gloves), but once on they are comfortable. The new leather pattern is simpler but coverage as good as prior. They work for rowing and casting, but as tight slow to get of to handle the trouts, which average 2 to 4 inches over measurement. Getting a metric ruler to help

Guide Glove

Excellent , I used the gloves while paddling my sea kayak in Alaska
