Simms Can Do Better

I've used a Simms Guide vest until it wore out, and tried to replace it with the Tributary. For me, everything about this vest is off, inconvenient and dysfunctional. The flaps are way too large and simply make access to the pockets difficult. The zippers are positioned so that two hands are required, one to unzip and one to hold the vest so there's resistance to pull against. The pockets open so that fly boxes fall out. Tiny pockets are tight sealed with velcro and unusable. All the extra fabric makes it heavy.

Fits all my fly boxes. Back large zipped pocket for rain jacket. Very light weight and cool!
