I wouldn’t say I used them roughly. But the inner sole withered up and got detroyed.

Easy Slip On With Good Protection
Great boots, sturdy for a slip on. Soles are beefy for great protection for walk wading from oysters and coral. Thin socks add a little more comfort

Perfect Boots For Sw Fl
I’m a full-time wade fishing guide in Tampa Bay and when I purchase gear the most important aspect of the products for me is durability in these harsh conditions. Zipper failures, sole of the boots falling off, etc. just to name a few of the common problems with booties. Not these! The ZipIt 2’s show up and want to work each and every trip. No zipper issues and the sole is holding up great after miles and months of use. The top of toe does crack but it doesn’t change the functionality of the boots. The new ZiptIt 3’s seem to have fixed that problem so the “perfect” boots do exist! I couldn’t be happier with these boots. Just like each and every Simms product my clients and I put to use almost daily!

Best In Class Neoprene Wading Booties
These are the third pair that I’ve owned and I use them exclusively for wade fishing beaches and inshore flats along the Gulf Coast of Florida. They’re a little more expensive than some other options but definitely worth it. They’re by far the most durable and provide better ankle support and protection from rocks and oysters than any other brands I’ve tried over the years. Most importantly, I’ve never had a zipper get stuck and break trying to zip them up. As you can see in the picture I’ve provided, the ZilpIt II Flats Booties complete my collection of Simms wading boots.
