These Are Mild But Heat

I recently picked up a few pairs of Skims men’s boxer briefs (the stretch or cotton ones—I think the Flex or Stretch line), and honestly, they’re pretty great in most ways. The fabric is super soft and smooth, with that signature Skims stretch that feels luxurious and lightweight—like you’re barely wearing anything. They move with you, don’t bunch up in weird places, and the fit is flattering without feeling too tight. I’ve worn them for everyday stuff, workouts, and long days, and they hold up well without riding up or sagging much. The colors are nice, the quality seems solid, and they’re definitely a step up from basic department store underwear. That said, the one thing holding them back from a full 5 stars is the waistband. It tends to fold over at the top after a bit of wear or movement, which gets annoying and makes them look/feel less premium. It’s not a deal-breaker for everyone, but it’s noticeable enough that it bothers me during the day. I’ve seen some other reviews mention similar things with rolling or folding, so it might be a common quirk with certain styles or fabrics. For comparison, I usually stick with Tommy John, which has a more reliable, stay-put waistband that doesn’t fold or roll—no issues there. Until Skims tweaks this (maybe a thicker or grippier band?), I’ll probably keep defaulting to Tommy John for that reason alone. Overall, if you’re looking for comfy, sexy-feeling underwear and don’t mind occasionally adjusting the waist, Skims is worth trying. But for me, it’s a strong 4 out of 5. Hoping they fix the waistband in future versions—then it’d be perfect. Would buy again? Yes, but not as my go-to until that gets sorted.

Worth The Money

As a mom, I thought this was a crazy purchase, but my athlete son says these are a game changer on the basketball court. He says the fabric is soft and prevents chaffing.
