Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Works Excellent We have had this ball for over a year and the battery is still good. We use it maybe twice a month. Never had a problem with it. Every pitch is consistent. My 9 year old loves it when he knows he is getting in the high 50's. It is easy to calibrate for 46 or 60 feet. Only on rare occasions does it not show a good reading. It is so easy to use. Why so many posters here have problems with it, I don't understand. Sometimes when I miss the catch, it bounces up against a tree, but we never bounce it on the ground or use it with a bat, or when its wet, and it has performed great. And for $15 bucks you can't beat it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never worked. Yes, the battery was new. Yes the connections were clear. Yes, we threw from the measured distance. No, it never worked. The display was totally dead.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work as advertised. Did not work straight out of the package. Followed all the instructions, measured correct distances from mound to catcher for little league and ball said my kid was throwing 55mph then 140mph.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money - does not work The whole battery unit fell out on the very first pitch and was lost. We contacted the manufacturer and they sent us two new ones under warranty. However, neither of them worked either - they were clocking the pitches as 120mph on one and 140 mph on the other

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ouch!! I picked up this ball and knew it felt light. I know how a regulation ball feels and this did not feel like one. i went out and threw with one and the speed was accurate. My arm felt weird after i threw the ball. I had a tournament two days later and when i picked up a regulation ball, my arm felt weird again. I went out to pitch and my arm hurt after the 1rst inning. I went home and found out i had pulled a muscle in my arm. I don't know if it was a fluke that the ball was light or if all of them are but if you get one and it feels light don't throw it!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inconsistent if accurate at all The speeds are all over the place... I mean from 34mph to 162mph.... same distance same pitcher same pitch.... unfortunate

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing My son spent his money on this ball with the hopes of it being able to determine how fast his pitch is. It sadly did not work. Even with resetting the ball according to the instructions it would never work accurately. Waste of money.
