Strengthen your skills through repetition, hitting regulation baseballs or 9" practice balls that are automatically tossed every 8 seconds. Buy If You You Want To Be Disappointed

We purchased this pitching machine as a gift for our 6-year-old, and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The entire unit is made of very cheap, brittle plastic, and it broke within the first hour of use. My child was completely devastated, especially since this was a gift from Santa. We understand that many products are made of plastic, but this particular plastic feels low-quality and fragile, not durable enough for normal use by a child. In theory, the machine’s concept could work well if it were built with better components. However, at this price point and construction quality, it’s simply not acceptable. To make this product viable, the materials would need to be significantly improved, even if that meant a higher price. Overall, this was a complete waste of time and money. I would not recommend this product to other parents.

I bought the item online. When it was delivered it was obvious that it was previously opened based on the way it was tapped. Sure enough, when I opened the item it was easy to see that it was previously used. I tried to assemble the item and the previous owner must have disassembled the product horribly because all the connection points were broken... definitely upsetting telling my son we couldn't use it

My boys love this thing. It pops whiffle balls up for catching and baseballs for hitting. Took it out to the park and they played with it for a long time (my boys range from ages 6-11)

Perfect For Indoor Practice! Don't Let The Negative Reviews Scare You Away.

I was honestly a bit hesitant to buy the SKLZ Catapult at first because I had read some mixed reviews online complaining about jamming or mechanical issues. However, I decided to take a chance on it, and I am quite happy that I did. We have had absolutely no issues with the machine whatsoever, and I think the key is how we are using it. We use only the SKLZ practice balls (the lightweight ones) rather than regulation baseballs. The machine handles them perfectly—it feeds smoothly every 8 seconds without jamming and gives a nice, consistent toss every time. The best part is that because we use the practice balls, it’s safe enough for my son to use right inside the garage. He can go out there and get his hitting reps in whenever he likes, rain or shine, without needing me to soft toss to him. If you are looking for a reliable training tool for home or garage practice, I highly recommend this, especially if you stick to the practice balls.
