About This Item

The SKLZ® D-Man Defensive Mannequin provides the perfect obstacle for kicking, throwing and shooting training. It encourages proper passing or kicking/shooting trajectory over the raised arms. Running and weaving around one or more D-Men helps improve depth perception and peripheral vision. Ideal for solo training or having a team of D-Men to practice 5-on-5 drills, the adjustable height and weighted base provide a sturdy opposition that acts as a defender.

Great Option For Focused Shooting

I bought this as a birthday present for my daughter. She plays competitive basketball and like to practice in our driveway. The "D-man" is placed near the goal so she can dribble drive and pull up for short jumpers. It helps her to focus on the rim and getting the shot off and not the potential defender in front of her. Product is well made, but is priced high for what it is.
