[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smartwool makes more cushioned socks for hiking or skiing and appropriately lighter socks for summer or heavier socks for winter, but these socks are a perfect compromise for every day wear, just as advertised. Enough cushion but not bulky and they stay up without any pinching. They make you forget you are wearing socks. I can't comment on the durability of this particular sock as I have owned them less than 6 months, but my other Smartwool socks hold up very well so I assume these will be no different.
