Great hiking sock. Warm winter sock. Great fit for women's size 9 wide feet. Great quality & color but not quite as thick as some smart wool socks I own. Fit better in my regular boots & still Great quality. Would like a little thicker, more plush inside of sock.

Note that they are thick enough that sock material compression and buffering between low top trail running Saucony shoes end up allowing a lot of foot movement in the shoe and the opportunities to stop and retighten things while hiking. Arizona terrain, one hike around 5 miles 1000 foot elevation gain out and back and the other 8 plus and around 2000 gain, also out and back. Durability rating is based on my much older pairs that have many 6 to 15 mile hikes on them
