Love My Smartwool Baselayers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are so warm and feel-good. I have four colors of 250 weight bottoms and four 250 tops. Can be slightly itchy. So far they are holding up well, aside from the fact they do pick easily...and the pants do loosen after a couple days (I'm wearing them heavily), but this isn't a big deal. I just can't really wear these and stand-alone leggings - which isn't their purpose, anyhow. Love wearing natural fibres, and wool is amazing for warmth and breathability. Grateful to have some new Smartwools!

The wider and smoother waist band is more comfortable. The fabric seems to maintain its shape and fit better. I spend all winter in my base layers for skiing and mountain adventures. I tried them on when they arrived and loved them so much that i kept them on all day and slept in them that night! I used these as base layer for skiing & snow shoeing in the high Colorado Rockies in single digit temps (4 degrees!) and was kept sufficiently warm - very happy with these!!
