Crash Tested And Amazing

I had a big crash on the White Rim trail that broke my collarbone and dented my helmet, left me with a knot above my left eye as well. My helmet was on tight and kept me from what could have been a terrible head injury. I will replace with same helmet when I can ride again. The ability to lock this helmet tight on my head was key. The ER doc was impressed!

Easy To Fit And Comfortable.

Easy to fit and comfortable. In addition not like other helmets I had in the past, it gives protection again the sun while maintaining ventilation.

Great Off-road Mips Helmet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd Forefront 2 MIPS helmet. Fits my head. Looks great. Many color options, but I buy what’s on sale. I use it for MTB, fat biking, and gravel.

Helmet Was Halfway Through It's Usable Life When I Received It

This is my 4th or 5th Smith helmet over the years. I'm a fan of them. The last one I bought was on sale and when I received it, I noticed that it was manufactured 18 months ago. The recommendation is to retire your helmet after 3 years from the manufacture date so the one I received won't be usable for very long.

Bad Quality Don’t Buy

I bought this helmet with great expectations and after 3 years and a few months the paint began to fall off, looking like a poor quality product. I tried to get the warranty to cover me but they denied me because it was a few months past the 3 years, saying that every 3 years you have to change your helmet and that is a lie, a good helmet can last much longer than that. In short, I do not recommend this product and the warranty is useless.

The Best Mountain Bike Helmet

This is the one and only mountain bike helmet we should have. Ths fit is perfect and the adjustment straps make it easy to fit every type of head. Colors are awesome and the fact that you can insert glasses is neet.

Saved My Life

Wrecked on my bike. Broke my collarbone and 6 ribs. Damage to the helmet shows I also hit my head very hard. Walked away without even a headache. Sincere thanks to Smirh for their high quality product.

I Want To Love It, But It's Not For My Head.

I measure at 59cm, the medium was too tight and was giving me headaches, so I figured I'd try the large. It fits clinched down but feels overall to big. I find the MIPS which is awesome, moved the helmet too much that the large ended up feeling even weirder. The movement was the same between both sizes. I really wish smith helmets worked for me, but it's the same story with my ski helmets. If you're right in between sizes definitely try them on before purchasing. I was able to sell the medium, but it's harder to sell large helmets so I'll probably just keep it for fall and spring riding. Sad if didn't work out, because it's an awesome helmet.

Great Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my son because he does cross country mountain bike racing and grew out of his junior size. He has a smith ski helmet that he loves so that is why we chose this one and he is quite happy with it.

Saved Me

Took a great crash off a table jump landing on my head and collar followed by a slide for about 10 ft. Helmet smashed a rock, dented in, and mips lining ripped free. Helmet is being replaced by another Smith as the bones in the shoulder broke but my head and brain were saved.
