When i started biking again a few years ago as an adult i bought a helmet and wore it on just about every ride. When i met my now fiance —- who is a nurse—- we both really enjoyed biking, so of course we set up to go on a ride together. On our first ride together, i pulled out my helmet and as i was about to strap it on, she said “ohhh you are not really going to wear that are you? I did not bring mine”. So of course I left it as it was not a big deal. Before our next ride she admitted that she rarely wears a helmet unless she is going in the city. So i just quit bringing my helmet along. I also thought she mush have a cheep helmet that is uncomfortable. On a recent trip she whips out her helmet a smith persist in red because she wants to go into the city. … she also apologizes to me for not telling me so i can bring my helmet. However 20 minutes into the ride she changes her mind and is irritated she has a helmet on. She asks if i will take her helmet. I tell her i will wear it and proceed to put it on. I was really impressed with the fit and comfort level so much i bought my own and now wear it regularly regardless of if my fiance has her helmet, however she has started wearing hers more.

Light Weight And Fun Color!
Love the fun colors and the helmet is very light weight and breathable. I do think the sizing runs a bit small compared to other brands in comparison.

Great Fitting And Safe Helmet
I never wear a helmet when i bike. My wife owns several helmets and will sometimes wear one when we ride together, and she always wears one when she rides with her parents. Recently we were going on a ride with her parents. As we were packing up my wife said i had to wear a helmet and gave me her persist. When i gave her a funny look she said you know my mom is a nurse and obsessives over safety just wear it. I said okay and She helped me get it fitted. The helmet fit my normal male head and with some minor strap adjustments i was able to get a great fit. I snugged up the chin strap when we set off. During the ride It actually was very very light and comfortable very well vented and did not feel hot. It felt safe and i am sure i was riding harder than usual. When we were done my wife asked what I thought. I told her i liked it and was considering my own. She seemed surprised excitedly that i was being safe. She also told me i was more than welcome to wear it on any ride since she has multiple helmets.

Great Helmet
As a loving wife I naturally worry about my husband’s well being. I have never been big on helmets so once the kids hit their teens they quit wearing their helmet and my husband and i never wore helmets. My husband used to bike with the boys but they are gone now sooo he rides alone and of course i worry about him while he is riding by himself. He always wear bright colors and an orange hat. Recently i purchased him a smith persist in poppy. When i gave it to him i said he did not have to wear it i just wanted him to have the option. When he put it on I was really surprised and a bit excited as i had secretly wished he would wear it. After his first ride he told me the helmet was really nice and it made him feel safe. He does not wear it on every ride but he does wear it often it seems to like it.

Comfortable And Perfect Fit.

The best part of this helmet is that it breathes as I ride, and it stays put on my head. It is both light and sturdy. It's the best I've found on the market right now.

Way Better Than A Bump On The Head
I ride my bike often with my wife. The kids are grown so its just the two of us. We don't wear helmets but just enjoy the ride. The wife has owned a helmet forever but i never have. While cleaning the garage last summer I found my wifes older helmet and put it with the bike stuff. It sat there unmoved until a last week when i was getting ready to take a ride by myself, the wife handed me the helmet and commented "you should really wear this, its wet and slippery out." I thought she was joking until she put it on me and did up the chin strap. Not wanting a fuss I decided to just wear it and off i went. Halfway through the ride i hit a big pile of wet leaves and went down i did not hit my head but it was a wakeup call. I spent the rest of the ride looking at everyone else's helmets. As soon as i got home i went on line and bought a smith persist in white. My wife is surprised that i wear a helmet now but let me tell you the fit is superd and i would rather not hit my head

Great Fit

Saved My Brain
I was in a crash a week ago and my helmet saved me from serious injury. I still don’t remember parts of the incident, but without the helmet, I’m sure I would have been a lot worse off.

Sturdy, Light And Well-ventilated Helmet

Fits perfect. Like the adjustable fit. Just an all around great looking helmet. Would highly recommend this helmet especially if you need an extra large sized helmet which are hard to find ones that fit so comfortably.
