Disappointing

Looked great and worked really well, but these developed a couple of hairline cracks above the nose after a couple of months of use trail running and MTBing. Super disappointed as these are not cheap.

New Favorite Cycling Shades

The Smith Bobcat fixes my not so great opinion of the Oakley Sutro S. You can see my review on expert voice but basically the Sutro S is still too big for small heads/ faces like mine 😂. Biggest gripe against the Sutro S is the ear pieces go too far and bike helmets end up pushing them off your face. Back to the Bobcat now. The fit is perfect and the curve down on ear pieces keeps them in place. Not much more to say beyond perfection..

Not Snug Enough At The Brow

Unfortunately these glasses say they are for smaller faces but I still find they sit way too far off of my brow line. Quite a bit of sunlight gets in from above and causes me to squint. The chroma pop Opal mirror lens is nice and bright but it should not be rated as sunny days coverage. It’s best for overcast or late evening sun. I’ve flipped the nose piece in both orientations but it doesn’t close the gap. So I’d say, if you’re always wearing it with a ball cap, helmet with visor etc. You’ll be fine. I needed them for beach volleyball, cycling and coaching on the water and snow sports so sadly, the Wildcat will not fit the bill. The fit is snug and I can’t say that they stay put playing volleyball so that is a plus.
