Go With Another Brand

Disappointed with Smith. The sunglasses fit loosely and constantly fell off during normal use. After a very minor fall, the lens shattered completely, and the warranty claim was denied. I’ve owned multiple Smith products over the years, but between the poor durability and lack of support, I won’t be purchasing from them again.

I bought these for fishing, but they work well for every day sunglasses. The are light and comfortable.

Bifocal

I am on the water a lot fishing. They made me a pair with the bifocal strength I wanted. I liked them so much I ordered a second pair with a tint for cloudy days. I wear them every day. Thank you Smith. Jimmy Lanier

Best Fishing Glasses

Guides choice have been in my experience the best glasses for sight fishing shallow water situations. From mirrored polar-chromatic lenses that fit an array of situations to low light lenses for cloudy days. They really cover the entire range necessary when targeting fish in the flats. Frames and lenses seem good quality, chose XL frame as I have a big head. They are too small reason for 4 stars not 5. If you've worn Costa permits, these are smaller. Overall slightly disappointed with fitment.

Best In The Industry Right Now!

The glass Chromapop polarchromic lenses are the best lenses in the industry at the moment. Frames are great they just run a bit large, that being said I’m only 5’8”, 145lbs.

Two Broken Pairs Not Under Warranty

I got these glasses and the springs on the arms broke and they could not be repaired. I tried to send them to Smith, but they only gave me a discount on a replacement. I got the replacement, and they also broke. These glasses in the same way. These glasses are not built to last outdoors.

Great Shades

These eye glasses are amazing, I wear them to fly fish. The only problem is that the Matte frames look and feel cheap, bought a pair and returned it. I have very old glossy finish and they are still going strong, very good quality. Please bring back the glossy finish on the frames!

Great fit. Bright lens is great on cloudy days when you need eye protection in case of mis cast flies.

These are truly a fine product. The hold up well to the rigors of fishing and look good even when not fishing. Smith Optics is a wonderful company to work with. Very responsive, which is rare today.
