Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent optics. Lighweight. Sturdy. Style mavens won't be noticing and commenting on your Parallel Max sunglasses, but they do look smart in an understated way. More important, the optics are excellent: crisp, glare free, soothing. The frames are extremely light. I wear them all day as a hiking guide, and I'm unaware of any pressure on my nose or ears. And despite being light, these glasses are quite sturdy. I'm confident they won't break unless I abuse them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable glasses Love these glasses! I am on my second pair (only because the dog mauled the first pair. Smith has a great recycling program with a discount that made it possible to buy the new pair) and they are wonderful! The option to change lenses makes it possible to use these glasses for a very wide range of activities and i find myself wearing them all the time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around Sports got the Max version of the Parallel for biking and downhill skiing and they are working out great. Good fit, easy to change out the lenses. Love the rose colored lens for how it works in low light situations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Glasses for Cycling I use these for road cycling, and the polarization is excellent. The black sleek style is also quite nice- it gives a clean and simple look. Not a bad price either

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent pair of sunglasses These are the first Smith's I've owned and they do not disappoint. Fantastic fit, finish and quality. These things actually help my vision clarity. Awesome product and hopefully these last a while so I don't have to buy a new pair anytime soon but if I do I'll be returning to Smith to do so. Thanks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A decent pair of shades I bought these glasses specifically for cycling. The upper brow part of the frame limits my view somewhat in cycling position, but through continued use I'm getting used to it and it doesn't seem to be a real issue. They have excellent coverage and nothing in the way for looking back over my shoulder for cars and people chasing me. However it would have been nice if I didn't need to get used to frame design issues at all. The lenses are OK, I think they will hold up well as they seem to have a good coatings. As far as the tint goes, nothing special there, they seem to get the job done. However I wish I had more options as far as lighter/darker tints. The best part of the equipment I think is the fit, they never slide down and the frame slides easily onto my temples and into my helmet. The frames also seem flexible enough not to break, but stiff enough to hold shape and stand up to active use. They were much less expensive than Oakley and Rudy Project, but they are also not as dynamic and awesome. However I have issue with Oakley and there frame quality and warranty department, although there lenses are amazing. This is why I went with Smith, a compromise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sunglasses I was really happy with the sunglasses. They don't slide down my nose, i feel like they stay perfectly in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great weight and optics. I like the light weight of these glasses, and the airflow behind the lenses to keep from steaming up during aerobic activities. Also the smaller fit so they don't slip down the nose, and the thinner side rails for a lighter look. The lenses seem very clear with good visibility. It would be great if you offered them with an even darker lense for snow travel on sunny days.
