Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not bad; not so great either I really wanted to like this knife. I hadn't bought a S&W knife in years and I thought this looked like the best of the available folders from them. After a few weeks of carrying it, I came to the conclusion that there was more about the knife that I didn't like than liked. Mechanically, it functions well. Parts seem to be smooth in operation and fitted well. Lines and edges are clean. However, the balance and feel of it just seem off. The auto-open feature feels spongy. The finish on the blade becomes marred quite easily, as does the finish on the handle. Finally, it has about the wimpiest pocket clip I've seen; it's about half as long as most other knives and doesn't have the indentation near the base to create a pinch point for retention and a gap for the edge of your pocket fabric. If you want a knife to use as a daily beater; it will do the job. However, anyone that considers themselves and kind of a knife enthusiast probably won't care much for this one.
