The rattlin rogue is already a great bait, but Uncle Frank’s custom colors make it even better!

Was my go to for many yrs. Now I have to get a bunch of each pattern I like and test run them. The percentage of baits that I get that will not straight (even with tuning) or even come close to suspending (some sink, some need multiple dots or addl rings) , has increased tremendously in the last decade. I look for ones that have a slow rise on the pause in mid/high 50 water temps and then upgrade the hooks to get a perfect suspend....then its game on and the Rogue gets crushed on the pause. I sure miss the Xcalibur jerks, thankfully I stocked up prior to the brands untimely death.

The Gold Rogue is my best Rogue. The days i usually get to go fishing are cloudy it seems like. The gold color is best in lower light conditions and the chrome colors are better in sunshine. I love fishing for sauger and walleye in shallow water. These fish don't love sunshine so the Gold Rogue usually give me enough fish to eat for dinner.

I have used this lure for many years. I have found more success with the rainbow trout color. I understand it is discontinued. I would like to get some. they work great for bass trout in the west.

This bait is by far the best producer for big fish in the fall I've ever used. It has produced walleye over 30" multiple times for me. I use it starting in October and use it into December for big walleye in Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado. The thread fin shad is the best pattern I've used so far. Great lure!

This has been my go to bait for years. It always comes through for me when I'm fishing for Slime Gators or for Bass. Good from spring until fall never lets me down, the clown color works well for my situation. My fishing buddy who always uses live bait for everything has even been converted over to these lures. Thank you for a great lure keep 'em coming!!

I have used the Smithwick suspending rogue for decades. Time and time again it has proven to be my go to bait. I have the pleasure to say my 32'' walleye this spring was on a clown 5-1/2' next year she will be bigger :) We use rouges specifically to target Pike, Walleye, Wipers and Bass here in Colorado and catch our fair share of giant Trout on them as well. I always have a selection with me and having them gives me confidence that I will be successful on my trips. The Smithwick Suspending Rogue is the Best Jerk Bait Ever !!

These lures work perfect in shallow waters. They are deadly on catching saugeyes. They work excellent for fishing at night from a boat or from shore. They have just the right weight for getting a long cast.
