Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kind of - Handy Dandy First I wish it had better hand grips or handles on the sides - its awkward to carry......then, I had trouble figuring out how to snap it together. It sets pretty low in the water - that might be cause I weigh 150 pounds ? It's also hard to unsnap it and pull it apart - the release clamp doesn't give you enough room to pull out the strap. I know, I may just be a clutz....but If I'm going to pay this much for something that's suppose to handier - I want it to be more simple!! What I do really like....it fits in my car and my storage closet - I just have to figure out how to get it apart!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it I am 5'5" 145 lb 60 year young women. This is perfect for me. Easy to put together and take apart, fits in my tiny van easily, and most important is a heck of a lot of fun. Only down side is nothing easy to grab a hold, a loop of rope solved the problem. A handle would be nice. Some folks said theirs leaked, but I am sitting dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from snapontop- Is great super for me on my own...fits in my car, easy to handle, lite and no water gets in because of the separation. Could add handles. I have friends looking in to a Snapontop up in Alaska...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent 1st kayak I live in an apartment and don't have a ton of space so this kayak is perfect for me. It tracks well in the water, is super easy to put together, and it is fun! I can put this together, place it in the water, take it out, and pull it apart all by myself. It is a little funky to hold since there are no handles but other than that I can't wait to get the middle section!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from PRETTY GOOD ... GOOD NEWS IS THAT THIS IS A SERVICEABLE KAYAK FOR THE PRICE. EASY TO TRANSPORT AND STORE; TRACKS REASONABLY WELL IF YOU PADDLE CORRECTLY; VERY MANEUVERABLE AND RESPONSIVE; REASONABLY COMFORTABLE (WITH A SEAT CUSHION); VERY STABLE FOR A NARROW BOAT; SNAPS TOGETHER EASILY AS ADVERTISED. BAD NEWS: THERE ARE NO FRONT OR REAR HANDLES FOR CARRYING/DRAGGING. THERE ARE NO SCUPPER HOLES FOR DRAINAGE AND NO GUNWALE HARDWARE TO ATTACH ANYTHING. I GIVE IT A B/B+

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this kayak This is so easy to use. It takes about 10 seconds to get it together and 20 to get it apart. The pieces and easy to handle and I have no fear of it coming apart. I can easily put the pieces in the back of my Jeep and be off. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better as a Tandem Bought the solo version from Dicks last year. Used it a few times but found it to be a bit twitchy and took on a lot of water. This week I purchased the center piece. FYI, Snap OnTop makes this under license from Point 65, as Swedish company. If you have noticed the Point 65 Apollo looks similar, you are right, they are exactly the same. I bought the Apollo Center piece and used they fit together perfectly. Now, as a tandem I found the boat tracks and planes just like any other sit on top kayak. Doesn't take on nearly as much water, just a tiny bit in the cup holders where the pieces fit together. Also, it's much more stable. In short, it's now the perfect portable. I can still fit all 3 pieces in the back of my Saturn SUV with the last row of seats down, and can be in and out of the water in 5 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great kayak, amazing space saver! I was waiting to write my review until we had more experience with our two kayaks. We have now owned these for a whole year and couldnt be happier! It was a little tricky on the first day to learn how to assemble and take apart, the company's customer service was great. They even sent me a youtube link to show me how.The main reason for us choosing these is that we are able to fit both of these in my wagon crossover without needing a roof rack. We have been able to travel everywhere with them in the car and no problem leaving them in there overnight. The only minor complaint, is the bungee cords in the front and back come loose a lot and you need a screwdriver to get back in place; but now that's part of our backpack along with duct tape which we have needed for the paddle.Definitely recommend!
