Rated 4 out of 5 by from My Cure ! I have been battling with PF for almost 2 years. A foot doctor gave me PureStride inserts that helped a little but didn't resolve issue. Doctor said I may have to have foot surgery at this point. I went to a NEW foot Doctor and they said "No way do you need foot surgery. He said I needed different inserts and the Sofsole Fit Neutral arch was the one". I bought them and wore them on my day off and they felt great. I wore them to work for the next 3 days and I feel like I have never had a foot problem ! I work in a 140,000 sq ft sporting goods store and walk all day. These are the best inserts ever !!! I am so thankful I made a new choice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The new style squeaks. I have 2 pair of the old style (picture of foot on it) and love them. I went to buy another pair and found that they had changed styles. So I tried them any way and after wearing them for one day they started squeaking. I tried them in another pair of shoes with the same results. It seems to me that the smooth finish on the new style(carbon fiber look on bottom) is the problem. I put my old style in the same shoes and they did not squeak. I would love to have more of the old style but don't want the new style. So off to the stores.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good fit but hate new style. I recently ordered the Neutral Arch insoles; however, the version I received were not like the insoles pictured on the website showing the green nylon plate. Instead, I received a newer version with a smooth black and gray plate. When I walked with them in my shoes, they caused a lot of noise - scrunch, scrunch. To make the noise stop, I tried roughing up the surface of the plate with an emery board - seemed to do the trick. I have 2pr of the version with the green plate and they have never made noises in any of my shoes. The new version feel good but the new plate needs to go!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Relief for my knees! My doctor actually recommended this brand when my new job had me standing for eight hours after years of sitting at a desk all day. It took a few days before I noticed any difference but once I did I was impressed. My knees stopped hurting when I stood and my feet were no longer tender on the edges or sore where my arch is. I wear closed toed sneakers at work so I'm don't know how they work with sandals or heeled shoes. But they're thin enough that I think they'd do well in flats. I generally wear men's shoes to work as they seem thicker and sturdier to me and so I've never had to cut the insole down to fit my shoe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not like they used to be I own an older pair of Sofsole FIT arches and they're great. Imagine my surprise at receiving these and discovering that now they're almost unwearable, with painful hot spots on the inside of the arches. For some reason Sofsole changed the formula -- they have a slightly different appearance, with faux carbon fiber now in the sole, but more importantly they don't offer (my feet, anyway) nearly the comfort or support that the old version did. Yes, they're the same model (FIT neutral) and same size. My advice is that you try these in a store before buying them, or if like me you loved the old version, re-buying them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good insole, super squeaky I had the previous generation and they were amazing, I am a police Officer and can be on my foot for a long time. First pair were amazing and bought another set for my new boots. Comfortable but crazy squeaky and noisy. The new plastic plate bottom makes too much noise. please go back to original design. I had to go back to my old pair were are pretty much toast, my new $45 set are wasted. I can't have noisy boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from solid arch I have been looking for an arch support that was not just heavy foam. This insole has injected molding type rigid housing, I went back and bough another pair!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sof Sole really helped Used the foot pad at the display to identify my arch support needs. I thought I needed a high arch but ended up getting the neutral based on the pad imprint. Glad I did. These supports fit perfectly and have made a huge difference when walking. I recommend you purchase the insert that fits the entire shoe and not ones that are 3/4 in length. This way your foot does not move around and your toes do not feel the short edge. I use these with all my shoes and sneakers.
