Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heel pain relieved My 11 year old son had been complaining of heel pain for months. I don't like going to doctors for every little thing and figured it was just growing pains. When the pain persisted, I actually considered a specialist, until we went shoe shopping at Dicks. We saw these gel heel cups hanging by the sports shoes, so I asked about them. The sales lady was polite and informative, and I figured the cost would be much less than a podiatrist, so we bought them. From the start, my son said the heel pain was less, and now, he doesn't complain at all. I highly recommend these to anyone who may be suffering from heel pain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good...when it stays in place I use these in soccer turf shoes because my heel isn't quite secure enough in the shoe. Other inserts that extend through the arch or beyond make the entire shoe too tight, so I chose heel-only inserts. I thought they'd stay in place better than they do because of the gel material they're made from. The gel feels great, but it doesn't help with secure placement. It could be powder or dry dirt causing the gel to lose its tack, but some double sided tape or a thin layer of ShoeGoo might fix that.I've used them in shoes with leather or similar insoles, and they work perfectly. But my turf shoes have a thin woven fabric, which makes it hard for the gel to adhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product exceeds our expectations, staff knowledge is great I have a tall 10 yr old, moves quick on the basketball court. His feet were aching at the ankles and heels and braces did not help. The very knowledgeable staff recommended these and I didn't even know his heels were hurting that much until we rubbed them in store. Since using them, he has many up and backs on the court and no longer complaining of ankles and foot sorenees. A good product that can help more than just the heels. The young athletes that work at Dick's always have some type of experience that applies to our situation. The product is good, but the experience with the products makes all the difference. How refreshing to have great customer service, we go no where else for sporting goods, a healthy body is just too important.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Probably the best heel cups! I have intermittent plantar fasciitis and have tried several products, including various brands of gel heel pads and heel cups. These are my favorite heel cushion for my athletic shoes (sneakers), which is where most of the problem stems from: athletic activities. I appreciate that these are conveniently up at the register line. For shearling boots and rain boots (with basically a flat insole with almost no cushion), I prefer full insoles for many reasons, including that the heel cups would e more difficult to keep in place in a less fitted shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my sore heel Recommend these to anyone with high arches or who needs that extra heel support for your feet and/or back. After two days of wearing these, my heel pain is gone. The insert does make your foot slide forward a bit, but as the Dick's salesperson told me, you get used to them after an hour or two. I'm really pleased with the quality of the gel insert design. There is a lip that hugs the back of the shoe surround, which prevents slippage and gives a good fit. I've tried other brands that are less money, and this is worth the extra few bucks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A great concept, just.... not enough This product worked ok for walking but for running, it didn't absorb enough impact to allow me to run ('m female, 5'4", muscular 175 lbs, heel striker with plantar fasciitis). In addition, they were too narrow so that if I didn't place them JUST SO in my shoe, they moved around and rubbed my foot. But when I positioned them perfectly, they definitely helped, espcially with just brisk walking. For the price (and if you have narrow heels or a thin build or just need them for walking), I think they're defiitely worth a try...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems to work pretty well. I go through insoles pretty quickly, usually every 8 to 10 weeks. I purchased these heel cups along with a pair metatarsal pads and should be able to extend the life of the insole by another month and a half. I had to place below the insole though to keep them from shifting position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helped with my calf strain I had a grade 3 calf strain and these heel cups allowed me to start working out again. They really reduced the strain on my calf the first few weeks post injury.
