Great Shears...only 1 Complaint
I work 911 EMS and was introduced to the sog shears by a co-worker. By far my favorite shears and I have the raptors. The oxygen wrench placement is probably one of my favorite features and they cut with absolutely no issue. My only complaint is there is no clip on them. I hate having gear on my belt and my belt barely fits the holster for them. They would be the perfect shear if they had a clip. Sog can you maybe make one you can add to it? Please!!

So Good, Your Wife Will Take Yours
I bought the red para shears after i got my wife's opinion. She's an RN 1st responder. I showed them to her after receiving them and she loved them and thanked me for getting them for her. Who am I to argue. I ordered another pair of para shears for myself and my truck. For my wife to appreciate one of my crazy purchases shows how darn good those para shears are. Try them yourselves, you'll appreciate their utility and ability to fold up to fit in a belt carry pouch which makes them part of my EDC, along with a tourniquet, P365, spare mag and a couple of pocket knifes. Ive already used mine to cut through those tough as nails plastic blister packs that are sonically welded together making the plastic quite difficult to cut. The para shears ate it up.

What You Need And Want
It seems we are all challenged in this day and age, to find quality in all our purchased products. As a for.er EMT in the USCG, I find the quality of SOG products to be "Too Shelf" and of solid value. The shears are exactly what a working professional needs, and a well trained person can use. These Shears Are "Ok"
So I have had this product now for a few weeks. I have used it in the field dozens of times. I like them, but I honestly believe that LEATHERMAN Raptor's has got this item beat. I have ran into the shears not cutting denim, as well as silk from a parachute main canopy. I cant say that I was ever able to use the oxygen wrench tool on this item as all the oxygen tanks are not a triangle stem shape, they are all more of a rectangle shape. Also the LEATHERMAN RAPTOR RESCUE SHEARS allow you to customize their shears, unfortunately not the SOG ParaShears. With that said, I am more than confident that this product will preform if this was the only shears on my belt.

Love them, but they need a better case like my Dec. the Velcro wore out, doesn’t stick well and they can fall out. Need a case like leatherman raptors.
