These are good quality and have a nice wrapped grip on them. For me they are a bit lightweight. Overall a nice set of throwing knives and it comes with a really nice carry pouch.

For one thing, throwing knives are not supposed to be fully edged. Secondly, throwing knives do not have a bolster or guard. These are not suitable for no spin throwing. And finally, what fool decided on this paracord wrap. which is poorly wrapped, and falls apart immediately. I think I will stick with my 2 custom sets of Louis Prince and my trusty Acejets. Thought I was getting a bargain on some fun throwers, but I guess I was wrong. I'm sure there are some acceptable SOG knives, but these ain't among them. Stay in your lane.

getting some should be here Saturday ....i threw and stuck these knifes 35 feet throws into a tree for a year before they broke so anyone complaining bought rope go back to playing video games these are better then the Kershaw, featuring a full-tang design, 3Cr13 stainless steel blade, and a blackwash finish, suitable for both beginners and experienced throwers. These knives, available as a set, are designed for precision and durability, featuring a finger ring for control and a nylon sheath for storage. that broke first throw are you serious lmao ..SOGS getting another set now

Paracord wrapping comes off after first few throws, with nothing left to dampen the vibration they clang on every throw without it.

Very happy with these knives, a ton of fun to throw. Out of the box sharp as you’d expect from SOG. Would recommend if you want some dedicated throwing knives you can use that aren’t shaped like a teardrop. I gave 5 stars but would give 4.5 if I could. Only because I am being a picky baby on this one. It would be cool if there was a guide on re-wrapping the handle as the cord does come loose after a few throws. Not such a big deal as you can still throw fine without the cord.

Very good knives when it comes to throwing up close. These knives would have receive 5 stars if they had a better sheath and better handle grips. The sheath spaces them out too much when there is no paracord. This wouldn't be a problem if the Paracord would stay on but because eventually they are going to come off this is a problem, and personally I do not like Velcro on retention straps a button would have been better. When it comes to throwing these knives far away there's a big chance of them breaking from the thin handle parts, there's many videos and pictures on the internet of this happening so I will not recommend them for practicing knife throwing from a distance. But for Close Quarters and combat distance throws I wood recommend them, the problem is you would have to make a different sheath for them. And the last part that I did not like was the clip points were not sharpened so I had to take time just to finish the edge on them on the top, the bottom Edge is fine and sharp. Very fine product if they took care of these problems they would be a very extremely desired weapon if they just fixed these issues, and increase the size of the knives longer than 12 inches for more weight for better penetration.

Really like these knives. Their heavier than the cheap ones I have been using for the last year. After a few throws I found I was very happy with the length and balance. I've had a couple bad throws, my fault, as I've adjusted to the knife. I do not regret this purchase at all.

This is my 4th set of these knives. Nuf said. They are a delight to throw. Easy, light, sleek, sharp....in combo with SOG throwing hawks, they're a lot of fun

This is my third set of throwing knives from SOG and I absolutely love them. Works great for throwing, they are super sharp and stick easily in a target.

I got my knives about a week ago, and I am in love with them. I throw them constantly, and they are durable, balanced, and my favorite throwing knives.

These throwing knives are awesome the size of regular edc knives come very sharp and i was impressed with how balanced they are. If you like throwing knives i recommend these for the fact they are normal sized and very durable. The only thing i didnt like was the handles are wraped with paracord and it comes loose very fast. To fix the paracord i just rewrapped and put a good knot at the end and burnt it with my lighter problem fixed hasnt come loose so far .

This is one of my favorite knives, starting back when the handle cutout said "SOG". But to be honest my reason for liking them is as a multi use tool and not a strict throwing knife. I have 4 sets. I have one on a vest set up. I keep one in the car. I keep one in the safe, it is new and just waiting to be purposed. The other I have split up the set on have them on/in various running, hiking, fishing packs. It's a knife you could use for utility purposes, as a spear tip, as a defense weapon, and heaven forbid the need arose you could throw it. I only wish they made a kydex type, multi-carry/active sheath for it as the set I broke up I'm just using repurposed sheaths from other knives. For those who say they don't like them breaking when they throw them I merely say practice. Hint: set up multiple targets instead of one. It makes for better play. Throwing isn't necessarily the skill where you need spectators cheering "nice grouping".
