I plan on using it in shelter building in the woods, or lining the bottom of the inside of my tent on colder nights. It is well made. The grommets look sturdy enough to be well used judiciously. And the color usefulness of each side is about as good as it gets.

It does keep you warm and its easy to pack for camping trips. It has a waterproof outside which makes it great when you are in the middle of the rain or on the wet ground. This would be great in emergency situations, as well. It will keep you and one other person warm until the need be. Definitely recommend this product for camping or to have on hand during an emergency. Would be smart to keep in a car in case of an emergency of a blizzard or something, as well.

The material of the blanket is very strong and the material will stretch before it tears. The blanket contains heat very well. Definitely handy to keep just in case of emergencies. Great to keep in an emergency kit or in your glove compartment.

It's lightweight, waterproof, and has the ability to retain body heat while camping or an any other situation. It's large enough to wrap your whole body in. I keep mine in my car just in case I get stranded somewhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blanket arrived in a compact little pouch, but opens up to an ample 58" x 98", (roughly 5' x 8'). The compact pouch, (plastic storage bag) is fine when the blanket is new but, in reality, needs to be a little larger for practical use for storage once opened. This blanket is large enough to comfortably wrap around one person or act as a blanket for two. The blanket does all the things one expects from a survival blanket such as being waterproof and wind proof and doubling as a rescue aid by having one side coated highly visible "international orange" while the other side is bright silver acting both as a heat reflective surface and also being suitable for use as a "signaling mirror". The blanket is made from a "Mylar" type material which is extremely lightweight (3.2oz). The material appears durable but will stretch and deform if pulled. However, unlike some of the more traditional "survival blankets" this one is very quiet and It does not have that loud "crinkle" usually associated with them when in use. In conclusion, this blanket will serve very well for its intended purpose as an emergency blanket for you car, boat or outdoor pack.

In the event, I am ever in a scary situation, these emergency blankets are a part of first aid survival kits I keep in the vehicles. I use these alongside water, reflectors, and a backup battery charger as my top 3 go-to's. I have an assortment of other things but these are the priorities. I live in a dry and warm climate but a short drive takes me into the mountains and a lot can happen in a small amount of time. Thankfully, I have never had to use this blanket in an emergency, however, it did its job during a camping trip where we had some misplaced items and cold campers. This easily fits two average-sized adults with enough heat to stay warm in pretty cold situations. In the event of an emergency, these are good for rendering aid to injured persons and animals. They will keep your body temperature at a safe value until help or shelter are administered. I really cannot recommend these enough to anyone. Don't leave home without it. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
