Rated 3 out of 5 by from So far, not particularly impressed I rarely do reviews and when I do, they're usually positive ones. Not so much for the E25, at least for now. I purchased the machine a week ago, after using at local Dick's and reading reviews here and elsewhere. My son (22) and I assembled the same day; took about 3 hrs. I consider us both pretty mechanically inclined. Assembly was a bit of a pain and definitely required two people for certain aspects. Per directions, we used larger tools when tightening nuts, etc. After a week's use, we're hearing some friction noises; haven't carefully investigated cause given modest frustration level after being diligent during assembly. In terms of operation, the manual is a bit sparse. Things I don't like, based on comparison to our old (and much cheaper) Horizon that died after many years of use - obviously, some of these are personal preferences: Power switch very inconveniently located; Only two save options for self-constructed workout routines (User 1 and User 2); Odometer reading to tenth of a mile instead of one hundredth; No idea what a "lap" is on the display; Leary of what the machine will sound like in a couple mos. given noises after a week. If after investigating noise issues and playing with workout options I'm a more impressed, I'll update review and rating.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THIS! I wish I could give 0 stars to Sole equipment - I have a Sole E25, had to get the first one replaced because it kept coming off the tracks - now the the brand new one the display does not work - barely used the thing 10 times.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Set-Up Directions Bought three weeks ago intending to have it delivered and set up. Couldn't get the set up people to even call back with a date or time, so my wife (also in her 60's) and I had it loaded in our Subaru and took it home. It is well built and heavy so we unloaded the pieces in the garage and got them in the house and down into the basement. Once there we were amazed at the exactness and logic of the installation guide. All parts and tools were included exactly as needed and pictured. It runs like a top and is whisper quiet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this product a few weeks ago and am disappointed. The first level is too difficult. I am not in the best shape, but am not in bad shape either and is is so difficult I can only do 5 minutes. I can do 30 minutes at the least at the gym. I should be able to build to higher levels, but can't even master level 1.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed We've owned the product for about 6 days. Assembly was about the degree of difficulty expected. Noticed a design flaw when connecting one of the electronic clips, wire is barely long enough to reach the receiver. Had to use a jewelers needle nose plier to accommodate. Can't imagine being successful by using only my fingers to reach, just not enough room. I'd like to think the manufacturer is correcting that for future models. Worked flawlessly and silently, which was a big plus, for about 10 uses then began to get an "E2 Motor Error". Checked all connections and eventually disconnected and reconnected all wiring, did not clear the problem. Called customer service who almost immediately decided to send a tech to our home which took us off guard. Was expecting some troubleshooting walk throughs. Stated "it's a common error with this model". Certainly would have appreciated that knowledge prior to purchase. We did our homework and read all reviews prior. Played the odds and lost. Still hoping that after the tech arrives, approximately one week, that we'll get plenty of trouble free use out of it but at present we remain skeptical.
